Hi. I’m Hak and I like to explore new places. I bet you do too, which is why you’re here. Photography, film, and backcountry skiing are my hobbies and I enjoy documenting these unique trips around the world. Going off the beaten path in pursuit of the ultimate adventure requires a lot of intel; introductions to local guides, terrain recon, ground logistics, accommodations, and of course, where the best ski lines exist. The problem is that this information usually exists in fragmented form across the internet, forcing you to engage in endless Google research or be teased by one photo on Instagram that lacks a proper introduction or story.
This website is my Treasure Map for backcountry skiing, made possible by numerous friendships made, lessons learned, and challenges endured across all 7 continents. Each destination offers a unique story, told through a combination of still and motion imagery. Enjoy these adventures, and I hope they encourages you to find your own.
