Little Alpental Mountain might be some of the best side country in the U.S. Even crazier is that this mountain is 45mins from downtown Seattle (anyone planning a move, start with Seattle). Alpental is a great place to ski when the conditions are with and the side country and backcountry are world class. The close proximity to Crystal Mountain makes for a fun long weekend adventure.
