La Grave
So you've been to Chamonix, bought a harness and ice axe and are looking for a more intense ski mountaineering destination? Then go to La Grave - arguably one of the most iconic destinations in the world. But don't go here without full equipment, backcountry experience and a local certified guide.
There are no signs here, no avi control, no patrol. It's Wild West type stuff but if you have the necessary backcountry experience, you'll likely walk away with a new found appreciation for the Alps.
