Mica
Mica Heli is the unofficial world capital of pillow skiing. While not as big of a tenure as other competing heli operations in the central interior or British Columbia, Mica has claimed stake to a magical spot that not only benefits from tons of snow, but the area's terrain is truly exceptional.
Flying into to Kelowna, drive 3-hours and do a day at Revelstoke Mountain for some quality resort skiing. The office for Mica Heli is in the down of Revelstoke so you can check-in and confirm the pickup time for the 1-hour drive to the heli pickup.
Mica is only accessible by helicopter in the winter and the new lodge is possible the nicest heli lodge in the world. While the cost for a Mica trip has risen materially over the last few years, the terrain remains some of the best in the world, as evident by the dozens of movies that feature this place. It's expensive but it's worth it. Mica also has a great ability to get you out even in low visibility days due to the extensive glade options. Get ready for one of the best trips of your life.
